The Nail Technology course is 600 hours in length, which is approximately 4 months on a full-time basis. SCULPTURED NAILS

Sculptured Nails are one of the new and growing specialties of the beauty world, and Maricopa Beauty College has been at the forefront of teaching these future specialists. Our school has installed custom built sculptured nail stations that allow our students to do precise and beautiful work. Our students have won numerous trophies in sculptured nails and tips and overlays including the Arizona State Championships four times.

NAIL ART

Nail Art is on the "Hot Item" list of todays salon services. These services allow you to use your creative imagination while generating considerable profits for yourself. Maricopa Beauty College prides itself in teaching various nail decoration techniques and then allowing the students to express their own artistic abilities. Some of the areas included are airbrushing, flat nail art, striping, rhinestones, nail jewels, lace, nail dust and polishing techniques.

VIDEO EDUCATION

Maricopa Beauty College has a complete video education program that allows our students to learn basic and advanced subjects. Video tapes, CDs, and DVDs, purchased from outside sources, make up our growing film library. These tapes are utilized during our basic educational program and our career specialization advanced training seminars.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

The school utilizes computer technology in all aspects of the educational program. During classes and educational seminars, computerized presentations using PowerPoint slide shows make it easier and more interesting to learn. Students who need state board preparation or subject review assistance may use our computerized tutoring center, which helps them master any subject more effectively.
