ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS The school admits as regular students (1) high school graduates or, (2) holders of a high school graduation equivalency certificates (GED) or, (3) individuals who have completed at least 10 high school credits and have the ability to benefit from the training offered. FINANCIAL AID Maricopa Beauty College has financial aid programs available for any eligible student. We are approved by the U.S. Department of Education to administer Pell Grants, Stafford Student Loans, and Plus Loans. The Director of Financial Aid makes and evaluation of each student's financial need and within a matter of minutes using our financial aid computer, designs a "package" of financial aid, including funding from one or more of the programs (where qualified) to help the student meet her total educational expenses. Maricopa Beauty College will send a booklet upon request explaining all of the above programs or the applicant may receive details in person from the financial aid officer. The packaging of financial assistance, and the amount thereof, is determined according to guidelines set up by the U.S. Office of Education. It is necessary for the student to provide the school with information on family income, family size, etc., and to fill out the appropriate applications honestly and accurately. All facts given to Maricopa Beauty College by the applicant will be held in strictest confidence and will only be used to obtain the greatest amount of financial aid available to meet individual need. The Financial Aid Officer will be happy to assist you in filling out the required financial aid forms.
